The obvious choice is a golf event or tournament, but you probably could have figured that one out. How about at sporting good stores? And though the sports page is an obvious – but good – choice for golf advertising, another effective section is the business page. Golfers tend to have a bit more cash, so think about advertising in the finance section. Whatever you decide, don’t wait too long to act. The golf advertising market is an incredibly lucrative one, and missing your chance to capitalize on it is a likely possibility if you’re too prudent.
